CNC Wire Forming

We own and operate a Whitelegg CFM 600-TWR Wire Forming and Buttwelding Machine using both hard drawn low carbon and galvanised wire.  The machine can produce wire forms such as shapes, rings, frames, hooks, card pockets and much more.

Wire size range includes 2.5 mm, 3.15mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6.3mm and 7.1mm diameter.

The machine offers the following versatility:

• form virtually any shape
• form and buttweld in one operation
• ideal for both smaller through to larger production runs
• offers consistency and accuracy in size and appearance
• provides time and labour savings.

An example of products the machine can produce are:

• Shapes/Frames – open or buttwelded.  Sizes range from 100mm to 1200mm depending on wire size used –eg rings, squares, rectangles, ovals, multi-sided shapes, and u-shapes.
• Hooks – eg  ‘S’ Hooks, ‘C’ Hooks and other hanging hooks.
• Card Pockets – two dimensional with buttweld suitable for merchandising stands.
